Dan Yarger

Director of Information Security Assessment Services at Parameter Security

Dan Yarger has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. From 1998-2008, they worked as an Operations Support at The Alamo II, a Service Tech at Telecourier Communications, and a Systems Analyst at Camber Corporation. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Stage Manager and Sound Technician at Illinois State University. In 2012, they began working as a Sr. IA Analyst at Pragmatics, Inc., where they performed network risk audits and analyses, reduced customer backlog of work by 40%, and developed a new process for returning audit results. In 2013, they worked as an Information Security Analyst at Bradford & Galt and an IA Security Engineer at Dynamics Research Corporation. Currently, they are the Director of Information Security Assessment Services at Parameter Security, where they manage a group of Digital Forensic Investigators in IT audits and penetration testing, and manages 60+ customer engagements per year.

Dan Yarger obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management from Illinois State University between 2002 and 2008. Dan then obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA in February 2009, a Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certification from (ISC)2 in April 2011, a Certified Information System Security Professional certification from (ISC)2 in February 2014, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in October 2018.
