Chris Whitmer

Christopher Whitmer is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and technical management. As Co-Founder of NarrateAR since May 2023 and Co-Founder and CTO of Parametric Studio Inc. since October 2015, Christopher leads customer acquisition, partnership development, and oversees technical projects focused on creating STEM education tools. Previous roles include Senior Project Engineer at VSI Aerospace Inc., where contributions included principal investigator of an NSF-funded aerospace design project and management of multiple programs related to hypersonic modeling. Additional experience includes positions at Vibroacoustics Solutions Inc. as a research engineer and at Iowa State University as a research/teaching assistant, culminating in the attainment of a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 2009.
