Brian Stewart is an experienced civil engineer with a comprehensive background in project management and engineering leadership. Since December 2025, Brian has served as a Senior Consultant at Parametrix. Prior to this role, Brian was a Project Manager at CDM Smith from July 2022 to December 2025 and the Director of Engineering for the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County from April 2017 to July 2022. Brian also held the position of Senior Civil Engineer at Placer County for over 13 years, following an earlier role as Associate Civil Engineer at Shasta County. Brian began a career in engineering with the California Department of Water Resources as an Engineer in Water Resources from April 1997 to April 1999. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
