J. Tait Elder

J. Tait Elder is the Greater Washington Area Cultural Resources Lead at Parametrix, where they focus on developing technical deliverables and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders, agencies, and Native American tribes. They are a federally qualified professional archaeologist with extensive experience in archaeological inventory, evaluation, and mitigation, as well as cultural landscape and ethnographic studies. J. Tait previously held roles at ICF, including Pacific Northwest Transportation Sector Lead and Principal Archaeologist, overseeing teams and managing cultural resources contracts. They obtained a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Western Washington University.
