Kai Tohinaka, AICP, is a seasoned urban planning professional with extensive experience in various roles within the planning and transportation sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at Parametrix since November 2015, Kai has prior experience as a Transportation Planner at InterPlan and as the Data Management & Research Director at United Way of Salt Lake. In addition to practical experience, Kai has interned at the Wasatch Front Regional Council and other organizations, focusing on multimodal planning and community development. An alumnus of the University of Utah, Kai holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of City and Metropolitan Planning, emphasizing a strong foundation in urban planning and management.
