Rian Tervet

Rian Tervet has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. They started their career as an Information Systems Workstudy at Renton Technical College in 2007, where they provided troubleshooting support, managed the Student PC lab, and assisted with computer lab setup.

In 2008, Tervet joined Scout Media / FOX Sports as an IT Specialist, where they were responsible for installing and configuring hardware, providing support for Redhat Linux servers, and implementing VMWare ESXi 3.

From 2011 to 2015, Tervet worked at Bellevue College in various roles, including Desktop Support Technician Assistant/Deployment Team, Computing Services Help Desk Coordinator, Help Desk Associate, and Openlab Assistant. In these positions, they provided technical support to faculty and staff, performed maintenance and testing on campus computers, and installed system hardware, software, and peripherals.

In 2015, Tervet joined Dynamic Computing as a Help Desk Consultant, and later became a Service Technician. Their responsibilities included providing help desk support and troubleshooting, as well as assisting with various IT projects.

Most recently, Tervet joined Parametrix in 2018 as a Systems Administrator I, and later advanced to the role of Systems Administrator II in 2019.

Rian Tervet obtained an Associates of Science degree in Computer Science from Bellevue College, which was completed from 2011 to 2014. Before that, from 2007 to 2008, Rian attended Renton Technical College, where they studied Computer Network Systems, although no degree was mentioned for this period. Additionally, Rian earned a CompTIA A+ Certification from CompTIA in September 2017.
