Lauren Nowell is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as SVP of Communications for Paramount Media Networks and SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios since February 2019, Lauren oversees communication strategies for a variety of high-profile brands, including Comedy Central and Paramount+ music properties, while leading a team of seven. Previously, Lauren held the role of Vice President of Communications at CBS Television Distribution from 2007 to 2019, where responsibilities included leading public relations for INSIDE EDITION and RACHAEL RAY. Lauren's career began at Dan Klores Communications, where a series of promotions highlighted strong capabilities in designing and executing multimedia campaigns. Educationally, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in History from The University of the South.
