Marisol Amaya

Marisol Amaya has extensive experience in content acquisition and programming within the entertainment industry. Beginning at HBO Latin America from November 1999 to October 2006, Marisol served as a Programming Scheduler, responsible for the strategic planning and scheduling of a premium cable channel, and later as Manager of Acquisitions, negotiating and managing the acquisition of independent films, documentaries, and series. From October 2006 to May 2010, Marisol worked at Discovery Channel Latin America as a Specialist in Program Acquisitions, where evaluation and recommendation of content for lifestyle and entertainment channels were key responsibilities. Marisol then joined Paramount International in May 2011, ultimately holding the position of Vice President of Acquisitions for Latin America All Platforms, managing third-party content acquisitions and collaborating with programming leaders. Marisol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Florida International University.
