Mike Boother

Mike Boother has extensive experience in the field of content distribution technology and anti-piracy. Currently serving as the Director of Distribution Technology at Paramount Pictures since January 2021, Mike previously held the position of Senior Director, Global Distribution Technology at Paramount, focusing on content security for global distribution. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Content Protection and Anti-Piracy at The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities involved overseeing content security technology for TV acquisition and distribution in EMEA. Mike’s career also features roles as a New Media Technical Specialist at Turner Broadcasting, and as a Senior Consultant at Oracle, contributing significantly to the development of interactive platforms for BSkyB. Earlier experience includes working as a Systems Integrator at BT Syntegra and as a Computer Operator at Concurrent Computer Corp.
