Richard Bateson has extensive experience in content strategy and scheduling, primarily within the television industry. Since January 2019, Richard has served as Vice President of Content Strategy for Comedy Central, Smithsonian Channel, and Fave TV at Paramount. Prior to this role, Richard was with Comedy Central from 2008 to 2019, progressing through various positions including Senior Director of Scheduling and Multiplatform Strategy. Earlier experience includes roles at ESPN as a Research and Programming Manager, PHD Media as a Research Executive, and Turner Broadcasting System as a Research Assistant. Richard holds a BA (Hons) in International Finance and Business from the University of Staffordshire, obtained in 2005.
