Steven J. Kung

Steven J. Kung is an accomplished director, screenwriter, and producer with diverse experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Director of the Paramount Directing Initiative, Kung will direct an episode of a Paramount Global show as one of five selected DGA directors. Notable works include writing the romantic comedy "RETURN TO OFFICE" for Crown Media Family Networks and developing a reboot of DC Comics' "THE WONDER TWINS" at Warner Bros. Animation. Previous roles include staff writer on "Dear White People," director for an episode of "Fresh Off The Boat," and involvement in various directing mentorship programs. Educated at the University of Southern California with a Master of Fine Arts and the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts, Kung brings a rich background in cinematic arts and storytelling.
