Thayne Knop

Thayne Knop has extensive experience in post production and emerging technologies, currently serving as VP of Post Production Technologies at Paramount since January 2022. Previously, Thayne held multiple leadership roles at Viacom from December 1999 to July 2022, including VP of Production Workflows & Emerging Technologies and VP of Emerging and Content Management Technologies, where responsibilities included overseeing the design and implementation of workflows for encoding, transcoding, live streaming, and digital delivery across various Viacom Media Networks channels. Thayne's early career involved several positions focused on broadcast graphics technologies, starting as a Support Specialist at Novaworks Computers Systems Inc. Thayne obtained a degree from The University of Kansas between 1995 and 1998.
