Jonathan Light

Jonathan Light has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in legal and compliance roles. Jonathan is currently serving as the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Paratek Pharmaceuticals since September 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Paratek Pharmaceuticals, including Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer from July 2020 to September 2022, and Vice President and Associate General Counsel from August 2018 to July 2020. Before joining Paratek Pharmaceuticals, they worked as the Senior Director and Executive Counsel at Teva Pharmaceuticals from May 2012 to August 2017. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Legal Counsel at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2012, an Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from 2006 to 2012, a Homeland Security Consultant at Community Research Associates, Inc. in 2002, and a Manager of Internet/Affiliate Marketing at Juniper Bank (now Barclays) from 2000 to 2002.

Jonathan Light completed their Bachelor's degree in Government from Dartmouth College between 1996 and 2000. Later, they attended the University of Virginia School of Law, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2003 to 2006.
