Paraxial is building the first truly AI-native optical design platform: a ground-up replacement for decades-old tools like Code V and OpticStudio. Our mission is to make high-end optical design 10–100× faster and accessible to every engineer, not just specialists.

With Paraxial, teams can:
- Go from spec to working optical models in minutes, not weeks
- Run hybrid AI tolerancing that cuts analysis from months to hours
- Optimize with a modern differentiable ray-tracing core
- Export seamlessly into CAD and manufacturing workflows

From AR/VR and LiDAR to robotics, medical imaging, and aerospace, today’s hardware companies depend on precision optics. Paraxial ensures they can design and build at the speed their roadmaps demand.

Founded by Akil Bhagat (ex-Zemax, ex-Amazon), Paraxial combines deep optical expertise with cutting-edge AI research to define a new category: AI-native engineering software.

We’re on a mission to compress the future of optics into real time. Join us.
