Dan Irwin has had a varied career in the sales and operations space. In 2012, they began as a Box Office Sales Manager (Treasurer) for Broadway & Off-Broadway, where they managed sales and ticketing for 100+ events per year in a 499-seat off-Broadway venue. Dan also assisted in sales at some of Broadway's finest theaters and shows, leveraging Excel and other tools to streamline and automate outdated paper-based systems. In 2017, they became an Account Executive at Yelp. In 2018, they joined Expo as a GTM & Revenue Operations Lead, where they were responsible for proposing and executing initiatives related to outreach, sales, and retention of customers. Dan was then promoted to Sales Operations Analyst, where they helped rebuild Salesforce instance using custom objects and an ABM model, and used Python and Hubspot to create an automated system for prospecting and sending leads customized sales emails in real-time. In 2020, they joined Wizards of Ops as a Member. Throughout their career, Dan has been recognized for their resourcefulness in prospecting and ability to reach decision-makers, and has excelled at complex sales to groups with multiple stakeholders. Dan has also increased revenue by creating reports, prospecting techniques, and other sales tools that were then rolled out throughout the sales organization.
Dan Irwin received a Bachelor's Degree in Labor Studies & Employee Relations from Rutgers University. In 2016, they attended the Commercial Theatre Institute for a Producing Intensive.
