Florian Windolf has worked in various roles in the software engineering and development field since 2011. In 2011, they began working as a Software Developer and Internship Student at Oce Printing Systems. Here they designed, implemented, and maintained a database abstraction layer used by multiple applications, and also developed a system for analyzing process data of a printer. In 2016, they worked as an Internship Student at jambit GmbH, where they evaluated and implemented features for an SDK in a open source/web development environment. In 2018, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at Technical University Munich and as an AScI Summer Intern at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where they worked on machine learning in active matter systems. In 2019, they worked at presize.ai as a Backend Engineer and Size Recommendation, where they built an ingestion pipeline that allowed the presize API to give recommendations with multiple 10ks of products. In 2021, they began working as a Manager Documentation Interface at Infineon Technologies, and in 2022, they began working as an AI Backend Engineer at paretos.

Florian Windolf completed a Master in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich from 2016 to 2019. From 2011 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm. Additionally, they obtained an Automation Engineer certification from Siemens Professional Education Nürnberg from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Automation Technician.
