Rita Afonso is an accomplished fashion designer with extensive experience in leading design and development teams across various companies. Currently, Rita serves as the Head of the Circular Jersey Department at Parfois, overseeing the creative direction and strategic planning of jersey-based collections. Prior roles at Parfois include Senior Designer in the Woven Department, contributing to the successful design of woven garments. Rita's career also encompasses roles as Senior Fashion Designer and Account Manager at Pocargil - Vieira & Marques, Lda, and as Team Leader and Senior Fashion Designer at POLOPIQUE, managing young apparel collections and client relationships. Furthermore, Rita has a strong background in architecture, having worked as a Project Leader Architect and Junior Architect. Education includes a Fashion/Apparel Design degree from Modatex and a Licentiate degree in Architecture from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto.
