Simon Pélisson

Simon Pélisson has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and support. Simon started their career at Troc de l'île in Avignon as an intern, where they maintained infrastructure and provided technical support to users. Simon then interned at Exantis SSII, configuring and maintaining Microsoft Terminal Server platforms. Simon also completed an internship at Université Catholique de Lyon, where they migrated a SendMail server to a Microsoft Exchange Server. Simon then extended their internship to finalize the installation and train users.

In 2003, Simon joined Centre Hospitalier d'Avignon, where they held various roles. Simon was involved in data and network security engineering, managing network equipment for a new building, setting up a disaster recovery plan, and implementing CISCO ASA firewalls. Simon also deployed Wi-Fi networks and a public internet access hotspot. Additionally, Simon worked as a network and system engineer and as a system engineer during their tenure at the hospital.

Simon joined Hertz as a Technical Support Engineer in 2014 before moving on to SSCS in 2015. At SSCS, they served as a Network Support Specialist and was responsible for supporting the network infrastructure of international clients across the USA, South America, and Europe.

Simon's most recent role was at Park Place Technologies, where they worked as a Network Support Engineer and later as a Senior Network Engineer and Team Lead. Simon managed the EMEA Network Support Engineers Team and administered remote LAN environments for international clients, mainly comprised of Cisco switches, access points, and firewalls.
