Joel King

Joel King is an experienced designer and web developer, currently employed at Park Tool since January 2012. In this role, Joel designed and implemented a successful native e-commerce platform for the company website, serving over 45,000 unique customers and achieving an 18.9% repeat buyer rate. Prior to this, Joel contributed as a graphic designer, managing product assets for over 500 SKUs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet print deadlines. Earlier experience includes positions as a visual editor and designer at The Minnesota Daily, where Joel created infographics and designed project spreads, as well as a customer service assistant at SMART Learning Commons, providing support for media programs. Joel holds a BS in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota, earned in 2011.
