Ashwin Pillai

Co-founder, CCO at Parkaze

Ashwin Pillai is the Co-founder and CCO of Parkaze. Ashwin was previously an Innovation Fellow at BU Spark!, where they were part of the team ParknGo. Ashwin's responsibilities included promoting discovery and innovations through the use of computational and data-driven approaches, and advancing computing sciences inspired by challenges in engineering; social, health & management sciences; and the arts.

Before BU Spark!, Ashwin was the Co-founder of Parkaze. Parkaze is a hassle-free, community-powered parking and navigation platform where you can host and rent privately owned parking spots. Ashwin's time as a software engineering intern at Red Hat and a graduate research assistant at Boston University have given him the skills necessary to make Parkaze a success.

Ashwin Pillai has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from University of Mumbai. Ashwin is also certified from Coursera in Machine Learning - Stanford, Statistical Learning, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox. Furthermore, they have a certification from NPTEL in Data Structures and Algorithms in Python.

Ashwin Pillai reports to Amal Radhakrishnan, Co-founder, CEO. They work with Georgia Snyder - Business Development, Oindrilla Chatterjee - Co-founder, CDO, and Roshan Raju - Business Development.
