Clare Fowler

Clare Fowler is the Global Safeguarding Lead at parkrun, where they write and implement safeguarding strategies, policies, and training to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Prior to this role, Clare served as Deputy Safeguarding Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, overseeing the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. Clare also held various positions at BeatBullying, including Safeguarding Lead and Head of International, where they managed teams and developed safeguarding frameworks across multiple countries. They earned a 2:1 degree in English Literature from The University of Sheffield.
