Joan Martin

Joan Martin is a college lecturer and dedicated animal welfarist with a strong background in the field. They are currently pursuing an MSc (by Research) in Biological Anthropology at Durham University and have previously earned a 1st Class BSc/FdSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Hartpury University. Joan has extensive experience in various roles, including animal keeper and wildlife technician, and is actively involved as a Run Director at parkrun. Their earlier career as a music producer has equipped them with advanced skills in research, writing, and presentation.
