Alan Parris has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Alan started their career in 1977 as an Avionics Engineer at McDonnell Aircraft and worked there until 1984. Alan then joined Tracor Applied Sciences as a Program Manager and Electrical Engineer from 1984 to 1991. Following that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at SFA, Inc. from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 until 2019, they served as the EVP/Engineering at Smartronix, Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Parraid, LLC since December 2019.
Alan Parris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University, from 1972 to 1976. After that, they pursued their Master's degree in Engineering Management at the Florida Institute of Technology, graduating between 1983 and 1987. Before their Master's degree, from 1980 to 1982, Alan also obtained a Master's in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, specializing in Data Processing.
