David Morse

Director Of Cloud And Platform Engineering at Parry Labs

David Morse has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and engineering. David began their career as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force. After leaving the military, they worked as a Web Master, Software Engineer, and SharePoint Developer, where they managed and deployed various software projects. David then joined Intelligent Software Solutions Inc, where they served as a Field Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and Lead DevOps Engineer, focusing on developing and implementing DevOps practices within the company. Morse then joined Polaris Alpha, where they worked as a Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer, leveraging Ansible, Docker, and other tools to build out an Infrastructure as Code Hybrid cloud environment. Most recently, they worked at Parsons Corporation as a Principal DevOps Engineer and System Architect, and later as the Director of Cloud and Platform Engineering at Parry Labs. At Parsons, they oversaw Agile Teams in areas such as software development, IT operations, and cybersecurity, and led the establishment of the Parsons Network Operations Center. Overall, David Morse has demonstrated expertise in driving DevOps transformation, infrastructure management, and cloud migration in various organizations.

David Morse has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from National University. David also holds an Associate's degree in Communications Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force and an Associate's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications as a Pivotal Cloud Foundry Associate from Pivotal Software, Inc. in December 2014 and as a Certified SAFe® 5 Architect from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2022.
