Mai Le

Mai Le has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2015, Mai worked as a Student Tutor and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they gained experience in C. elegans, EMS Mutagenesis, Electrocompetent E. coli, and Mini/Midi Prep. Following that, Mai served as a Medical Scribe in Gastroenterology at Washington Gastroenterology from March 2017 to May 2018, where they proactively retrieved and compiled patient data for physicians and performed accurate documentation during clinical visits.

From 2018 to 2021, Mai worked as a Clinical Laboratory Technician II - Microbiology at Harborview Medical Center. In this role, they generated user-friendly protocols for complex assays, provided prompt and accurate responses to inquiries about lab values and testing conditions, and introduced a digital database for long-term record storage of acid fast bacteria sensitivities.

In 2021, Mai joined the Brotman Baty Institute as a Research Scientist/Engineer I, first on the Single Cell Combinatorial Indexing Team and later on the Seattle Flu Study/Husky Coronavirus Testing.

Currently, Mai is working at Parse Biosciences as an Order Specialist, starting in April 2022. A role as a Buyer is listed for the year 2023, but no specific start and end dates are provided.
