David Leonard

David Leonard, AICP, ASLA, GISP, LEED Green Associate, serves as a Senior Manager at Parsons Corporation since June 2015, contributing extensive expertise in planning and landscape architecture. Prior to this role, David held the position of Membership Chair for the Federal Planning Division of the American Planning Association from January 2016 to October 2018, focusing on improving land management and planning policies for federal properties. David's prior experience includes over 14 years as a Senior Associate at KTU+A, where services were provided to enhance sustainable resource use and create engaging environments across various sectors, including federal planning, parks and recreation, and healthcare landscape design. David started in the field as an intern at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, where wetland feasibility projects were constructed. David holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with a focus on Planning and Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland.
