Jacob Ramey

Jacob Ramey, BSEE/MBA, is a seasoned embedded engineer with extensive experience in firmware development, project management, and embedded systems integration, currently serving as a Senior Embedded Engineer at Parsons Corporation since May 2019. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as a Firmware Engineer at QRC Technologies, where responsibilities included automating production tasks, developing applications, and designing RF systems. Jacob possesses a strong background in programming languages such as SystemVerilog, C/C++/C#, and Python, along with expertise in serial communication design, Linux kernel drivers, and FPGA design. In addition to technical roles, Jacob has demonstrated proficiency in education as an experienced math and science tutor, influencing student learning through effective teaching methodologies. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University, complemented by an MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business and ongoing Master of Engineering studies in Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech.
