Anna Karbownik

Anna Karbownik is an experienced HPC Software Engineer currently working at ParTec AG since October 2023. Previously, Anna had a significant tenure at Intel Corporation from July 2011 to July 2023, serving in various roles including AI Application Engineer, Deep Learning Software Engineer, and Graphics Software Engineer. Responsibilities included enabling machine learning workloads on new hardware, developing the Apache MXNet framework, supporting the XPPS software stack, and contributing to HPC-related projects. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at DGT Sp. z o.o, where Anna led the maintenance and development of digital call recording software while also gaining knowledge in multithreaded and multiplatform software development. Anna holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology, earned in 2006.
