Jeff Shukis

Jeff Shukis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of DevOps, SRE, and security. Jeff is currently serving as the VP of DevOps, SRE, and Security at PAR Technology, where they oversee these areas for all of the PAR companies. Prior to this, they worked at VoiceBase, Inc. as the SVP of Engineering and Operations, as well as the CTO. During their time at VoiceBase, they led the design and build-out of the entire system and played a key role in its acquisition by LivePerson. Jeff also has experience as a consulting SaaS Architecture Advisor for a well-known Enterprise software company, where they focused on multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure. Jeff has worked as a PCI Compliance Consultant for a startup SaaS company and founded Open IDA, a company that developed software for unified reporting and analytics in identity and access management systems. Previously, Jeff held positions at Oracle, Bridgestream, and Pointserve, where they served as the VP of Software Development, VP of Engineering and SaaS Operations, and VP of Engineering and Chief Architect, respectively. Jeff also provided consulting services in engineering management, architecture, and product management for various clients. Jeff began their career at Promptu as the VP of Engineering and VP of Internet Operations, where they played a key role in securing funding and delivering major releases of the Promptu software.

Jeff Shukis attended Stanford University from 2018 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, completing their Bachelor of Science degree.
