Deepika Venugopal has extensive experience in engineering and project management. Deepika began their career in 2006 as an Engineer Trainee at Wipro 3D networks, where they worked extensively on Nortel and Juniper products. In 2007, they served as a Lab Assistant at San Jose State University. In 2010, they joined Network Sound as a Hardware Board Design Engineer Intern - Volunteer, where they created schematic designs and layouts for PCBs. Later that year, they joined Juniper Networks as an Optics GCM/ Value Engineering PM, where they worked on commodity strategy, conducted Supplier Business Reviews, and managed programs for sustaining and NPI activities. In 2012, they were promoted to Value Engineering PM, where they were responsible for closure of all associated tracking documentation. Deepika also held the roles of Hardware Sustaining Engineer and Hardware Sustaining Engineer Intern at Juniper Networks. In 2022, they joined Particle as a Sr Engineering Project Manager.
Deepika Venugopal has a well-rounded educational background. Deepika began their academic career at Holy Child Auxilium School from 1987 to 1999. Deepika then attended DTEA, Lodhi Road from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their High School degree. After that, they attended Anna University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a BE in Electronics and Communication. Deepika then attended San Jose State University from 2007 to 2010 and obtained a MS EE in VLSI/ Digital Design/Analog-Mixed Signal Design/Test. Lastly, they attended San Jose State University from 2017 to 2020 and obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, Deepika has obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in December 2020.
