Senior Hardware Engineer II at Particle

Mohit Bhoite has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Mohit began their career as an Intern at Mahindra and Mahindra in 2003. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Technical Associate at TRI Technosolutions Pvt Ltd., where they conceptualized and developed a two-day workshop on autonomous robotics for undergraduate engineering students. In 2007, they worked as an Independent Consultant, Production Assistant, where they designed and built a set of robots to trace a large text on the floor. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's ModLab, where they researched methodologies for rapid robot prototype development and designed and developed a quick release end-effector for Willow Garage's PR2 robot. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Robotics Redefined Inc. as a Robotics Engineer, where they designed and developed a WiFi enabled robot controller based on the 16 bit dsPIC33 microcontroller. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have worked at Particle as a Senior Hardware Engineer II, Senior Hardware Engineer, and Hardware Engineer.

Mohit Bhoite received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai in 2006. Mohit then attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained their Master of Science in Engineering in Robotics in 2011.
