Nick Lambourne

Nick Lambourne has a diverse work experience in various technology companies. Nick currently serves as the CTO/VP of Engineering at Particle since 2020. In 2022, they joined Embroid in the role of "Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?". From 2020 to 2022, they worked as an advisor at indie Semiconductor, supporting the licensing of Automotive IP that they developed in their prior role. Prior to this, Nick was the VP and GM of Engineering at Sirius XM Radio Inc. from 2014 to 2020, where they led a wide range of engineering disciplines and successfully launched multiple hardware consumer products. Nick also worked at Pixl Toys, Inc. as the Head of Toy Technology from an unknown start date to April 2020. In 2013, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Roku where they contributed to the software/hardware development of Roku TV. Before that, Nick held multiple roles at Broadcom from 2005 to 2013, including Director of Software Engineering and Senior Principal Software Engineer. Nick made significant contributions to chip design, software development, and project management, leading to the successful launch of several products. Nick started their career as a Software Engineer at dCS Ltd in 2000, working on ADC/DACs and high-end audio equipment. Nick also worked at Harman International and TagMclaren as a Senior Software Engineer.

Nick Lambourne attended Loughborough University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
