Scott Brust has been working in the embedded engineering industry since 2009. Scott began their career at Cantaloupe Systems as a Firmware Engineer, where they built cellular telematics and payment devices for the vending industry. In 2017, they joined Automatic Labs as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they worked on a small team to build an aftermarket automotive device that plugged into a car's OBD port to enable internet "connected car" features. In 2020, they moved to SiriusXM as a Senior Firmware Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Particle as a Senior Embedded Engineer.
Scott Brust graduated from San Diego State University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
