Torben Thygesen

Torben Thygesen is an accomplished medical professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and technology innovation. As the Cofounder and head of the tech advisory board at Particle3D since January 2018, Torben has been instrumental in the development of advanced imaging and simulation technologies. In addition, Torben has served as Owner and Chief Surgeon at KLINIK FOR KÆBEKIRURGI since July 2009 and held the position of Head of Department, Associate Professor, and research director at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Odense University Hospital from November 2012 to May 2018. Torben's previous roles include leadership as Bestyrelsesformand at 3Dsurgery, a startup focused on 3D imaging and surgical simulation, and Cofounder of a company in collaboration with Trivision, aimed at 3D superficial imaging and simulation of cosmetic procedures.
