PARTISANS is an award-winning Toronto-based architecture studio that specializes in the integration of design and technology, invention and programming, culture and creative services. We are a diverse team of architects, researchers, storytellers, entrepreneurs, builders, and cultural enthusiasts devoted to a cause: smart, high-performance design that strives to make the impossible probable.

Architecture is not just the act of designing a building, it’s a way of seeing, thinking, and making that expands and even revolutionizes our experience of the world. To that end, in our research-focused studio, we intersect disciplinary lenses and generate valuable insights that help us to distill a client’s ambitions and translate them into a responsive architectural story that aligns vision with values to maximize performance, pro forma, and place making.

Architecture is also a brand, it is a statement of one’s values manifested into brick and mortar. This is why we do what we do and why we work for such special people. Private individuals, CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, institutional leaders in culture, and not for profits, seek our support to help them to manifest their visions into architectural form.

We aspire to realise better cities by innovating on the frontlines of ideas, culture, forms, materials, and typologies. With every project, we design to optimize performance and experience with an eye toward subverting expectations and creating meaningful built experiences. PARTISANS is participatory. Our intentions are earnest. Our enthusiasm is unblinking. We listen. We transmute. We shoot for the sublime. Don’t hire us. Join us.
