Tony Austin

Tony Austin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in eCommerce and retail management. As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Partly since May 2020, Tony has been instrumental in steering the company's strategic direction. Prior to this role, Tony served as General Manager for Amazon Australia and New Zealand from June 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included defining and scaling new eCommerce business models and leading cross-border initiatives. Tony's Amazon tenure included leadership positions across various divisions, such as the General Manager for Amazon Australia (Cross Border) and Head of Automotive for Europe, overseeing product management, marketing, and business development. Before joining Amazon, Tony was the Country Leader at eBay Motors Group in the UK, focusing on vehicles, parts, and accessories. Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
