Long Cao

As a Director at Partner Forces, Long Cao provides data and risk modeling solutions across the Department of Homeland Security portfolio. He leads corporate projects to improve and mature business processes, plan and implement strategic technology initiatives, provide employees with technology training and pursue regulatory accreditations.

Long has over 20 years of experience in data science and information technology, having developed strong technical expertise in data modeling, risk analysis, data visualization and business intelligence development. Throughout his career, Long has supported the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, state and local governments and private sector stakeholders. Prior to joining Partner forces, Long provided leadership on day-to-day IT operations, O365 administration, AWS and VMWare management, network management and regulatory process and security standards implementation as a Senior Technology officer.

Long holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. His love for technology and engineering is far reaching and includes power tools. He enjoys tearing down and building things, whether it be system processes, code, computers, or DIY home repair.
