Aaron Coates possesses extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, currently serving as SVP - Senior Underwriter at PartnerRe since November 2020, where responsibilities include developing and executing a Property Retro Portfolio strategy. Previously, Aaron held the role of Executive Director - Sourcing at Twelve Capital, focusing on global origination of ILS investments across diverse sectors, and established private cat bonds. At Barbican Insurance Group, Aaron served as Underwriting Manager for Property Reinsurance, managing client and broker relations for both US and international portfolios. Earlier career stages included a Vice President & Underwriter position at Montpelier Reinsurance Holdings Ltd, evaluating collateralized retrocession deals, and work as an Underwriter at GE Insurance Solutions, specializing in Cat Retro contracts.
