Leo Gu is a seasoned pricing actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as AVP of Pricing at PartnerRe since November 2020, Leo has progressed from Manager to this role, contributing valuable expertise to the firm. Prior to PartnerRe, Leo held the position of Pricing Actuary at PartnerRe North America Life and served as Assistant Vice President at Swiss Re, focusing on life and health business management. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Sun Life Financial, where Leo worked as an Assistant Actuary and contributed to financial risk management and pricing for various life insurance products. Leo holds a Master's Degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba.
