Mary O'Shea

Mary O'Shea is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as General Manager and Executive Director at PartnerRe Ireland Insurance dac since September 2019, O'Shea also holds a position in Group IFRS at PartnerRe. Previous roles include General Manager and Compliance Officer at Reinsurance Group of America from March 2016 to May 2019, and Head of Finance at Generali from August 2012 to February 2016. O'Shea has a solid background in financial reporting, having worked as Solvency II Pillar 3 Lead and Financial Reporting Manager at Aviva Ireland for 15 years. Earlier in the career, O'Shea was an Audit Supervisor at PwC after qualifying as a chartered accountant. O'Shea's educational qualifications include FCA from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Commerce degree from University College Cork.
