Mike Plappert

Mike Plappert has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Mike is currently working as the VP, Associate General Counsel at PartnerRe, specifically focusing on U.S. Health. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Contract and Policy Administration at PartnerRe. Before joining PartnerRe, they worked as the Deputy General Counsel at Global Benefits Group (GBG). In addition, they held the position of Vice President, Health Insurance Product Manager at The Navigators Group, Inc., and Head of Regional Services and Regional Counsel at Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. Mike also has experience working as a Law Clerk at Exelon and as a Reinsurance Intermediary (Vice President) at Towers Watson. Their earlier roles include working as an Assistant Director at Cigna and as an Underwriter at Duncanson and Holt Reinsurance Managers.

Mike Plappert received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law in 2009. Before that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies, from Wilkes University in 1992.
