Robin Gee is a seasoned seismic hazard and risk researcher with extensive experience in the field. Currently employed at PartnerRe since November 2021, Robin previously served as a seismic hazard modeler at the Global Earthquake Model Foundation, contributing to the 2018 Global Seismic Hazard Model and developing the OpenQuake Engine software. Prior roles include postgraduate research at OGS, focused on seismic hazard analysis projects in significant geological locations, and graduate research at ISTerre, culminating in a thesis on surface topography and seismic stations. Early career experience involved processing seismic data for the Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation and teaching rock climbing at a local gym. Robin holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Seismology from Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori and a Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics and Geology from UC Santa Barbara, with ongoing studies at the University of Otago.
