Sam Saunders

Sam Saunders is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in pricing and actuarial modeling, currently serving as a Senior Pricing Actuary at PartnerRe since July 2020. Prior to this role, Sam worked at Reinsurance Group of America, where responsibilities included Pricing Actuary for Africa and involvement in Research & Development in actuarial capacities from 2014 to June 2020, as well as serving as a Pricing Specialist from 2007 to 2013. Earlier experience includes the role of Actuarial Modeller at CSC Computer Science Corporation Private Limited from September 2006 to August 2007 and Actuarial Assistant at Genesis Actuarial Solutions from April 2005 to August 2006. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial Science from the University of the Free State, obtained between 2001 and 2004.
