Serge Charron

Serge Charron has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance and actuarial industry. Serge is currently working as the Head of L&H Third Party Actuarial Infrastructure at PartnerRe since April 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Moody's Analytics, including Client Relationship Actuary from June 2021 to March 2023 and Associate Director positions from September 2019 to June 2021 and from March 2016 to September 2019. Before joining Moody's Analytics, they worked as an Actuary, Client Support at GGY AXIS from September 2007 to March 2016. Serge also held roles at The Co-operators as Marketing Director for Quebec's Region from 2005 to 2007, at Standard Life as Marketing Actuary (2003-2005) and Pricing Actuary (1999-2003), at OPTIMUM VIE as Head of Actuarial Services from 1995 to 1998, and at La Capitale as Assistant Actuary from 1991 to 1995.

Serge Charron has a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial sciences from Université Laval, which they obtained from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended CEGEP de Valleyfield from 1985 to 1987. Serge is also a member of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, with respective designations of FSA and FCIA, which were obtained in 2000 and 2001.
