Derek Lim

Derek Lim is part of the Private Equity Goods and Products business unit based in Denver. He is a member of the Private Equity Direct Leads, Direct Co-Investment and Direct Growth Investment Committees in Goods and Products. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio company SureWerx. He joined Partners Group in 2022 and has 18 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was a Managing Director at Ardian and a founding member of the North American buyout fund, focused on industrial and industrial services investments. Previously, he worked at Apax Partners, Fenway Partners and Citigroup. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in economics from Occidental College.
