Gary Black

Gary Black has worked in various roles in the education sector since 1985. Gary began their career as a Social Studies Teacher in the Kansas City, Missouri School District in 1985. In 1997, they joined San Diego City Schools as a Teacher. Later in 1990, they became the CEO of Partners In Progress.

Gary Black received their High School Diploma from Lincoln High School in 1967 after studying according to the Missouri state standards. Gary then attended Rocky Mountain College from 1970 to 1973 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. In 1998, they obtained a Master of Arts in Education from Alliant International University. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership & Management from Alliant International University in 2018.
