David Bates

David Bates has a comprehensive work experience in the software engineering field. David started their career at iiPAY as a Software Analyst, where they created a multi-threaded processing engine for international payroll and developed analysis skills throughout the product lifecycle. David then joined Trigger Software Limited as a Software Analyst, expanding their skillset and building a diverse range of products. At Cynergy, The Experience Agency, they were promoted to a Technical Lead and worked on projects such as developing an Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) application for auto care stores. When Cynergy was acquired by KPMG, David was retained as a Technical Lead (Advisory) and led cross-functional teams to build engaging software experiences. At AutoAnything, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, supporting the company's website and implementing various projects to enhance user experience and improve efficiency. David then joined Evernote as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for developing the web, desktop, and mobile versions of the Evernote application, receiving the Evernote CEO Engineering award, and mentoring interns and junior engineers.
