Michael Saputra

Michael Saputra is an experienced executive with a strong background in operations and business development. As the Chief Operating Officer at PasarPolis Indonesia since April 2020, Michael has led strategic initiatives in the insurance sector. Prior to this role, Michael served as Head of Operation at Xiaomi Indonesia for a brief period and as COO at HipCar, where contributions included facilitating an innovative peer-to-peer car-sharing platform. Michael co-founded and served as CEO of both Black Garlic and Klik-Eat.com, the latter securing significant investment for its online food delivery services. Earlier in the career, Michael held analytical and engineering roles at Asia Pulp & Paper, Maxim Integrated Products, Whirlpool Corporation, and Bosch. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas.
