Made in India was synonymous with being ethnic and to disrupt this paradigm fashion entrepreneur Shilu Kumar embarked on an arduous and ambitious journey. Embodying the finest craftsmanship, Pashma launched a line of scarves and shawls in 1999 and was showcased at the Milano Vende Moda- a prestigious trade show. It evoked an instant 'bellissima' among fashionistas for its refreshing take on luxury fashion that celebrated individualism.
