Bert Lagerstedt has had a long and varied career in engineering. Bert began their career in 1996 as a Senior Engineer at Evans & Sutherland, and then moved on to Visionary Products in 2001. In 2006 they joined Fusion-io as a Lead Hardware Engineer, where they designed and prototyped the initial hardware products. In 2018 they moved to Granite Mountain Technologies as a Lead Hardware Engineer, where they guided system design, and did all Circuit Design, PCB Layout, Test and Repair work for a high power, small form factor analytics machine. In 2020 they joined PassiveLogic as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they are currently doing circuit board design. Bert retired in 2012, and since then has been involved in various projects, such as designing a new school building for New Hope Academy, and a community economic development project in Liberia.
Bert Lagerstedt attended Brigham Young University from 1981 to 1996, where they received a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Bert also attended Oregon State University from 1981 to 1982.
